Concious Hypnotherapy

The Journey to Your Best Self Starts Here

Hypnotherapy is a gentle, focused state of awareness that allows you to work with subconscious patterns influencing how you think, feel, and respond to life. It is not sleep, mind control, or a loss of awareness. You remain fully present and in control at all times. Hypnotherapy cannot make you do or say anything without your consent, and the process is collaborative. Guided by your goals, comfort, and choice.

How Can Hypnotherapy Support Change?

Many emotional reactions, stress responses, and repeating patterns were learned over time, often as protection. When those patterns no longer serve us, change happens through awareness, safety, and choice—not force. Hypnotherapy can support emotional regulation, nervous system balance, increased self-understanding, and more flexible responses to life’s challenges. Change unfolds gradually, at your own pace, as the nervous system feels safe enough to respond differently. As a registered nurse, I have seen how often care becomes fragmented, addressing symptoms while overlooking how deeply connected our systems truly are. My approach to hypnotherapy is trauma-informed and whole-person focused, supporting the mind and nervous system together rather than trying to fix or override your experience. You do not need to be fixed. You are already whole. Hypnotherapy is simply one tool to help you reconnect with that truth in a safe, respectful, and intentional way.

About Me...

Hey! I’m Sam, RN, BSN, Certified Hypnotherapist and founder of Conscious Hypnotherapy, where I combine my background in nursing with trauma-informed subconscious work to help clients create meaningful and lasting change.

After years working within traditional healthcare, I developed a deeper interest in the connection between the mind, body, nervous system, and unresolved emotional patterns. Through both professional experience and personal exploration, I began to recognize how stress, trauma, conditioning, and subconscious beliefs can profoundly impact physical health, emotional well-being, behavior, and quality of life.

My work was also shaped by a growing passion for supporting women struggling with PMDD and other stress-related or hormonally influenced conditions. I became increasingly interested in how chronic stress, stored emotional experiences, nervous system dysregulation, and subconscious survival patterns can manifest physically within the body. Influenced by the growing body of research surrounding trauma and the mind-body connection, I believe transformation often requires addressing not only symptoms, but the deeper patterns held within the nervous system and subconscious mind.

This led me to pursue advanced training in clinical hypnotherapy through the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI), where I focused on subconscious transformation, behavioral change, emotional wellness, and whole-person care. I integrate evidence-informed hypnotic techniques with a compassionate, grounded approach designed to help clients feel safe, empowered, and deeply supported throughout the process.

My work focuses particularly on trauma, stress-related conditions, PMDD, self-worth, emotional regulation, personal growth, and helping clients break long-standing subconscious patterns that no longer serve them. I’m also passionate about educating others on the mind-body connection and the role the subconscious mind can play in personal transformation and behavioral change.

In addition to my private practice, I’m developing educational resources, transformational programs, and wellness retreats designed to support deeper self-discovery, nervous system regulation, and personal growth.

My approach blends clinical professionalism with intuitive, heart-centered care , helping clients reconnect with themselves, create new internal patterns, and move toward lasting transformation from within.

How I can Help...

I help people reconnect with their inner sense of safety, clarity, and self-trust by working gently with the subconscious mind. Through trauma-informed, conscious hypnotherapy, we identify and shift patterns that no longer serve you—whether they show up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, chronic stress, PMDD-related mood changes, burnout, or feeling “stuck.” My approach is grounded in both clinical understanding and deep compassion, creating a supportive space where your nervous system can settle and meaningful change can unfold at your own pace. Rather than forcing change, we work with your mind and body’s natural capacity for insight, regulation, and healing.
